*Water for injections supplied may be referred to as sterile solvent for suspension.
Reconstitute to 11.25 mg/mL for IM administration.
Withdraw the water for injections from the ampoule supplied using the injection syringe provided.
Add to the vial containing powdered triptorelin and gently shake to obtain a milky, uniform suspension. Withdraw the contents of the vial back into the injection syringe.
Replace the needle on the injection syringe with a needle for administration.
Decapeptyl (Immediate Release): For SC administration only

Diphereline is modified release and Decapeptyl is immediate release, they are not interchangeable.
IV administration
Never administer intravenously.
Other routes of administration
IM: Suitable. Diphereline only. Give undiluted.
SC: Suitable. Decapeptyl only. Inject under the skin of the lower abdominal wall. Refer to relevant local guideline or product information for detailed administration instructions.
Additional information
Observe closely for anaphylactic reactions.
Decapeptyl: For the first administration, monitor patient for hypersensitivity reactions for 30 minutes.

Must be administered under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
Administration may cause pain, erythema and inflammation at the injection site.
Diphereline contains a suspension of microgranules. Avoid inadvertent intravascular injection.
Decapeptyl only: Refrigerate. Discard any remaining syringe contents. Protect from light.
