Synacthen Depot

Never administer intravenously.
IM: Suitable. Give undiluted by deep IM injection preferably into buttocks or outer mid-thigh. Shake ampoule well until uniformly cloudy before use.
SC: Not recommended.
Use with caution in neonates; contains benzyl alcohol which has been linked with ‘gasping syndrome’.
Refrigerate, do not freeze.
Suspension should be milky-white.
Protect from light during storage.
