Presentation and preparation
800 microgram/mL (volume: 12.5 mL)
IV administration
Give undiluted or dilute to a convenient volume for infusion. Infuse loading dose over 3 hours followed by continuous infusion.
Loading doses have been given over 30 minutes or less, but are associated with a higher incidence of significant hypotension.

Additional information
Monitor blood pressure, heart rate and oxygenation.
Taper the infusion slowly when discontinuing treatment; abrupt discontinuation may cause sudden clinical deterioration.
Discard any unused vial contents.
