Strength
10 mg/mL (volume: 10 mL, 50 mL)
IV administration
Dilute to 1 to 4 mg/mL. Gently invert the bag to mix. Do not shake.
Rituximab must be administered as a slow IV infusion; refer to relevant local protocol for recommended infusion rates.
Other routes of administration
IM: Not recommended.
SC: Not recommended.

Additional information
Observe closely for anaphylactic reactions.
Use only when facilities for cardiac monitoring and cardio-respiratory resuscitation exist.
Monitor blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate and temperature during and for at least 1 hour after the infusion.
If infusion-related reactions occur:
- Slow or temporarily stop the infusion (stop permanently if severe reactions occur)
- When symptoms resolve, restart the infusion at half the previous rate
- For detailed management, refer to relevant local protocol
Premedication may reduce infusion-related reactions; refer to relevant local protocol.
Refrigerate, do not freeze.
Discard any unused vial contents.
Protect from light during storage.
Riximyo: Solution should be clear and colourless to slightly yellow.
