Bring kit to room temperature for at least 30 minutes, then add diluent to the vial using the provided adaptor.

Let the vial stand for 5 minutes to fully wet the powder, then gently shake horizontally for at least 30 seconds until a uniform suspension is obtained.

IV administration

Never administer intravenously.

Other routes of administration

IM: Octreotide long-acting formulation only. Suitable. Give by deep intragluteal injection.

Avoid deltoid injection as significant pain and discomfort may occur.

SC: Contraindicated.

Additional information

Do not confuse the long-acting product with octreotide short-acting preparations. Refer to Product Information for details.

Use immediately after reconstitution.

Reconstituted suspension should be uniform and milky.

Discard any unused vial contents.

Refrigerate, do not freeze.

Protect from light during storage.
