Give undiluted as a continuous infusion via a central line only, using an infusion pump and a three-way stopcock catheter, with a compatible co-infusion running. Co-infusion must be administered at 4 times the rate of the nimodipine infusion rate to reduce risk of crystal formation.
Non-PVC bags and giving sets should be used.

Additional information
Administration may cause significant hypotension. Monitor blood pressure.
Infusion solution contains ethanol 23.7% w/v (23.7 g/100 mL).
Solution should be clear and slightly yellow.
Discard any unused vial contents.
Protect from light during storage and administration.
Protect syringe/bag and tubing from light including the use of light-occluding infusion lines. All infusion tubing must be changed every 24 hours.
