Strength

1.6 mg/mL (volume: 250 mL)

IV administration

Give undiluted over 1 hour.

SC: Not recommended.

Additional information

Ensure adequate hydration. 

Use with caution in patients predisposed to QT interval prolongation or in patients being administered other medications known to prolong the QT interval.

May lower the seizure threshold, use cautiously in patients with seizure history. 

Solution should be clear and yellow.

Moxifloxacin (Kabi): Protect from light during storage.
