Reconstitute with 5 mL of sodium chloride 0.9% or glucose 5%. Slowly add diluent towards the wall of the vial and gently rotate to wet the powder. Swirl gently to dissolve. Do not shake. Resulting solution must be diluted further prior to administration.
IV administration
Dilute to 0.5 to 1.5 mg/mL and infuse over 1 hour. Gently invert to mix. Do not shake.
Concentrations over 1.5 mg/mL must be infused via a central line to reduce risk of infusion reactions.
Maximum concentration if necessary: 4 mg/mL via a central line only.
Other routes of administration
IM: Not recommended.
SC: Not recommended.

Additional information
Protect from light during storage and administration. It is not necessary to protect tubing from light.
