Metoprolol 0.5 mg/mL or weaker:

Glucose 5%

Sodium chloride 0.9%

Y-site only:

Plasma-Lyte 148

Y-site only and metoprolol 0.5 mg/mL or weaker:

Potassium chloride 20 mmol/L

Additional information

Use only where facilities for cardiac monitoring and cardio-respiratory resuscitation exist.

Monitor blood pressure and ECG during and after administration.

Discard any unused vial contents.

Protect from light during storage.
