Presentation and preparation

Never administer intravenously.
Other routes of administration
IM: Not recommended.
SC: Suitable.

Give undiluted by deep SC injection into the superior external (upper, outer) quadrant of the buttock. Do not pinch or fold the skin. Insert the needle perpendicular to the skin and to its full length. Do not rub or massage the injection site.
Additional information
Refrigerate, do not freeze.
Remove laminated pouch from refrigerator, allow to come to room temperature for 30 minutes before injecting; keep sealed until just prior to use.
Solution should be a white to pale yellow, semi-solid gel-like formulation.
For single use only. Discard any residue.
Protect from light during storage.
