Reconstitute to 1 mg/mL using the water for injections syringe provided.
Gently shake the vial until the glucagon is completely dissolved and the solution is clear.
1 mg of glucagon = 1 unit of glucagon
IV administration
Stat dose: give reconstituted solution undiluted as a rapid injection.
Continuous infusion: dilute to a convenient volume for infusion.

IM: Suitable.
SC: Suitable.
Compatible IV fluids
Glucose 5%
Glucagon infusions have been reported as having variable stability. Infusions should be observed closely for possible precipitation.
