Never administer intravenously.
Other routes of administration
IM: Suitable. Give by deep IM injection into the gluteus maximus. Aspirate before injection to ensure that intravascular injection does not occur.
SC: Not recommended.
Additional information
Initiation of therapy may require a test dose and patient specific dose titration. Specialist observation and supervision is required.
Contains fractionated coconut oil.
Do not mix with depot formulations containing sesame oil.
Solution should be a clear and colourless or slightly yellow oil.
Protect from light during storage.
