IV administration
Dilute to 2 – 5 mg/mL and infuse over at least 15 minutes.
Other routes of administration
IM: Contraindicated.
SC: Contraindicated.

Sodium chloride 0.9%
Additional information
Observe closely for anaphylactic reactions during and for at least 30 minutes after administration.
Use only when facilities for cardiac monitoring and cardio-respiratory resuscitation exist.
Extravasation risk: Can cause irritation and permanent discolouration of the skin.
Solution should be dark brown.
Discard any unused vial contents.
Protect from light during storage.
