IV administration
Do not shake.
Give undiluted over 1 to 2 minutes. If necessary, flush with sodium chloride 0.9% to ensure the full dose is delivered.
Patients who experience ‘flu-like’ symptoms during administration: Give over 5 minutes.
Haemodialysis: IV is the preferred route. Give at the end of haemodialysis.
Other routes of administration
IM: Not recommended.
SC: Suitable and preferred route, except for patients receiving haemodialysis due to increased risk of pure red cell aplasia. Maximum volume per site is 1 mL.
Do not shake.
Give undiluted.

Observe closely for anaphylactic reactions.
Needle cover contains latex.
Refrigerate, do not freeze.
Protect from light during storage.
