Presentation and preparation

10 mg/mL (volume: 30 mL)

IV administration

Dilute the dose with an equal volume of a compatible fluid to make a final concentration of 5 mg/mL. Gently invert the syringe or bag to mix. Do not shake.

Infuse over 1 to 4 hours.

Other routes of administration

IM: Not recommended.

SC: Not recommended.

Additional information

Observe closely for anaphylactic reactions.

Monitor the patient for at least 1 hour following the infusion for signs or symptoms of an infusion reaction.

Administration may cause chills, fever and flu-like symptoms.

If an adverse reaction occurs, slow or stop the infusion. Total infusion time should not exceed 4 hours.

Protect from light during storage.

Refrigerate, do not freeze.
