Reconstitute to 10 mg/mL for IV administration.
Swirl gently to dissolve. Do not shake.
IV administration
Give undiluted, or for small doses, dilute to 1 mg/mL and give over 30 minutes.
If cardiac arrest is imminent, give via rapid injection.
Other routes of administration
IM: Not recommended.
SC: Not recommended.
Compatible IV fluids
Sodium chloride 0.9% (4 hours if refrigerated)
Additional information
Rapid administration may cause infusion-related reactions. Monitor patient for infusion reactions and reduce rate of administration if not tolerated.
Reconstituted solution should be clear and colourless to slightly opalescent or pale yellow.
Prepared infusions should be used immediately.
Refrigerate, do not freeze.
Discard any unused vial contents.
