IV administration
Give undiluted as an injection or dilute to a convenient volume for infusion.
Other routes of administration
IM: Not recommended.
SC: Suitable. Inject into the abdomen or upper buttock while the patient is sitting or lying down. Do not rub injection site. For fixed-dose prefilled syringes, do not expel air bubble prior to SC injection.
Compatible IV fluids
Glucose 5% (12 hours only)
Sodium chloride 0.9% (12 hours only)

Solution should be clear and colourless to light yellow.
Needle cover contains latex
