Presentation and preparation
7.5 mg/mL (volume: 2 mL)
10 mg/mL (volume: 5 mL, 10 mL, 30 mL)
IV administration
Refer to relevant local guideline or protocol.
Give undiluted or dilute to a convenient volume and infuse over 15 minutes to 2 hours.
Maximum rate (due to calcium content): 160 mg/minute.
Other routes of administration
IM: Suitable. Give undiluted.
SC: Not recommended.

Glucose 5%
Sodium chloride 0.9%
Y-site only and calcium folinate 2 mg/mL or weaker in glucose 5%:
Potassium chloride 20 mmol/L
Additional information
Refrigerate, do not freeze.
Solution should be clear and colourless or slightly yellow to straw-coloured.
Discard any unused vial contents.
Protect from light during storage.
