Never administer intravenously.
Other routes of administration
IM: Not recommended.
SC: Suitable. Remove from refrigerator, allow to come to room temperature for 30 minutes before injecting. Give undiluted. Inject into the upper arm, thigh or abdomen. Do not shake. Do not expel air bubble prior to administration.
Patients aged 12 years or older: May be suitable to self-administer dose after education.

Additional information
Patients must be observed for 1 hour after 1st dose.
Patients should be observed for 30 minutes after subsequent doses.
Solution should be clear to opalescent, and colourless to slightly yellow. It may contain a small amount of translucent or white to off-white small particles.
Protect from light during storage.
Refrigerate, do not freeze.
Prefilled pen is stable for 14 days if stored at room temperature.
